Cost:

$340 Full Jasper Junior Olympics: February 27-March 1, 2026 (Lift pass not included)

OR

$300 Race Only: February 28-March 1, 2026 (Lift pass not included)

Lifts:

Lift tickets are not included for the weekend. Discounted passes are available for purchase using your Snow Valley Ski Club season pass.

Where:

Marmot Basin Ski Resort, 1 Marmot Rd, Jasper, Alberta T0E 1E0

Race Format:

Friday:

- Athletes will be tech skiing or All-Mountain Skills Development skiing with coaches.

Saturday:

- Athletes born in 2020 and 2021:

AM: 3+ ‘fun’ runs on Schoolhouse

PM: 3+ ‘fun’ runs on Schoolhouse

Sunday:

- Athletes born in 2020 and 2021:

x1 1 run “JJO shootout” multi-disciplinary obstacle course on Lower Dromedary

Race Schedule:

Schedule and information will be emailed out to registrants the week leading up to JJO.

Please prepare for an early morning on all three days. Refer to the parent handbook for typical NZ race day schedules.

Award Format:

Presentations to follow completion of race teardown on Sunday, around 2:00pm in Parking Lot 4.

Eligibility:

All U6 athletes registered with Snow Valley Racing and in good standing with Alberta Alpine.

Equipment:

SL or race skis, race gear, and a helmet.

Deadline:

The sign-up deadline is Friday, February 20th, 2026 @ 11:59 pm.

*Disclaimer: For all Entry Level and U12 camps/races, we provide a specific number of coaches based on the assumption that athletes have the minimum technical ability to ski blue and black runs safely. If an athlete is unable to keep up with their peers, they may be moved to ski with a different group. If there is an issue with athlete ability or behavior, parents are required to be on standby to assist coaches on snow. In some circumstances (and at the discretion of the Head Coach), an athlete may no longer be permitted to participate further in the camp/race. In these instances, parents are required to accept that their athlete has been removed from further participation and a credit will be provided for the days the athlete will no longer be attending.
