WELCOME TO THE 2017 TOUR DE KEJI

It is a rare opportunity for a bicycle competition to be held in a national park. In fact, this is the first time ever for Kejimkujik. The result of fortuitous timing and hundreds of hours of planning and negotiating, the Tour de Keji will finally become reality. The venue is magical and there is no guarantee that this event can be repeated next year. Let's all make this one count!
LOCATION:
Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site
Highway 8, Maitland Bridge, NS
Your first stop will be at the Visitor Reception Centre for park information. See technical guide for more details.
From Halifax:
- Drive south on Highway 103 for about 100 km.
- Take Exit 13 at Bridgewater and turn right.
- Follow Highway 325 for 25 km and turn left.
- Follow Highway 208 for 17 km and turn right.
- Follow Highway 8 for 21 km to Kejimkujik.
From the Annapolis Valley or Yarmouth:
- Drive on Highway 101 towards Annapolis Royal.
- Take Exit 22 at Annapolis Royal and turn left.
- Follow Highway 8 for 41 km to Kejimkujik.

1. Time Trial, Saturday 12:00 PM
- U17/U15/U13: 8.0 km
- B Female/Cat C/C Female/Cat D/U19 Female: 12.0 km
- Cat A/A Female/Cat B/U19 Male: 16.0 km
2. Criterium, Saturday 3:00 PM
- U17/U15/U13: 10 laps (880 metres per lap)
- C Female/Cat D/U19 Female: 15 laps
- Cat C/B Female: 20 laps
- Cat B/A Female/U19 Male: 25 laps
- Cat A: 30 laps
3. Road Race, Sunday 12:00 PM
- U17/U15/U13: 1 lap, 23 km
- C Female/Cat D/U19 Female: 2 laps, 46 km
- Cat C/B Female: 3 laps, 69 km
- Cat B/A Female/U19 Male: 4 laps, 92 km
- Cat A: 5 laps, 115 km
ENTRY FEES:
The three events are sanctioned separately; register for one, two or all three. Each event earns points for the 2017 BNS Points Series. Pre-registration is available until 5:00pm, Friday, May 26. Online registration will not be available on Saturday, May 27th , even if you are registering for the road race only. There will be NO same-day registration at Kejimkujik. A one-event membership (OEM) for $25 is available only for those who register for a single event only. See technical guide for more details.

All other categories (A, B, C, D, AF, BF, CF, U19):

SIGN-IN:
You only have to sign in once for the entire weekend. Sign-in is open on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:30 PM and from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. On Sunday, sign-in is open from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. All participants must sign in before their first event and present a valid BNS/CCC/UCI racing licence. Two jersey numbers are required for all three events. Jersey numbers can be picked up on race day at the sign-in table. See technical guide for more details.
AWARDS:
Immediately after each event, medals will be awarded to the top three cyclists from each category. The award ceremony on Sunday will be extended in order to present special prizes to the top competitors according to the final omnium standings, which is based on points accumulated for each event entered. Over $4,000 in awards and prizes are available to be won this weekend. See technical guide for more details.
