Entry Fees

16 years old and younger: $25

15 years old and older:$35

One Event Membership (for non-licensed racers): $25

A valid BNS race license must be shown at registration/sign-in.

Please note there is NO day of registration. Online registration only!

Sign-in Schedule:

9:00 - 10:30: rider plate/timing chip picked up (U15 and YOUNGER categories)

9:00 - 11:30: rider plate/timing chip picked up (U17 and OLDER categories)

Race schedule:

U 11, 13, and 15 categories start at 11am. All other races start at 12 noon.

See Strava link: https://www.strava.com/routes/13409231 Course is 7.8 km long (plus a 1km starting loop around the pond (1st lap only): mostly singletrack broken up with open dirt and gravel roads. There will be a technically easier and shorter course for the 11am kids race

Race Distance:

Elite men: 4 laps

Expert men/Elite women: 3 laps

Sport men/Expert women/Master mens/U17 men/Junior women: 2 laps

U17 women: 1 lap

U15 men, women: 2 laps of short course

U13 and U11 men, women: 1 lap of short course

Rider Warm-up

Please note when the kids race starts at 11am only those racing at that time will be allowed on the course. For the adults racing at 12, we ask that you don't do your warmup on the race course. You may impede the racers if do. There is lots of trails in the park to ride on. Please do your warm up there. If you aren't sure, ask a course marshal

Race Plate:

Race plates are required. Please bring your plate from Victoria's Secret if you still have it. They will be provided when you pick up your chip timer if you don't have already have one. Cost is $5. if you don't have one

Course preride:

Pictou County Cycle will be hosting prerides for the adult course on Tuesday, May 29th and Wednesday, June 30th. Please meet at the Trenton Park parking lot for a 6pm roll out.

Other Noteworthy Information:

Great fishing in the pond, Playground, Fun for the whole family! There will be bathrooms available at the park. Those participants and race teams with tents, race equipment, etc, may set up inside the park just past the main gate on the grassy area to the left. The main gate is locked but your equipment can be dropped off at the gate and walked in (it's a very short walk, trust me!)

Parking:

There is limited parking spaces at Trenton Park and taking your vehicle inside the park itself is not permitted. You may park down the road (200m) at Trenton Rink. There is lots of space there. Please do not park on the road as it's a busy road and your safety is paramount here!
