Biathlon Manitoba MB Cup #5 & #6
Biathlon races are open to all athletes ages 11 and up wanting to compete in a biathlon event.
Those new to the sport should register in the developmental categories which will see them shooting on larger targets with more relaxed shooting rules. These competitors will only shoot from the prone position (laying down) and will be permitted to use a rest to stabilize the rifle during shooting.
Athletes not having their own rifle can elect to pay $10 per day of racing and have a rifle and ammunition provided to them during the race. Those using the general pool rifles shoot in the developmental categories.
ELIGIBILITY ::
All participants must be a member of Biathlon Canada or must purchase a one-day license for a fee of $5. This one day license can be purchased on the registration page.
