Le Club Skinouk vous invite à participer à sa course en sentier annuelle (Coupe Skinouk Cross-Country) dans le cadre enchanteur du Parc du Lac-Beauchamp , à Gatineau. La course aura lieu le 2 novembre 2019. Veuillez noter que la course se déroulera presque entièrement en sentiers.

Trail Race organized by Club Skinouk

Club Skinouk invites you to take part in its annual trail race (Coupe Skinouk Cross-Country) in the enchanting setting of Lake Beauchamp Park in Gatineau. The race will take place on November 2, 2019. Please note that the race will be almost entirely on trails.

GENERAL INFORMATIONRace: 2.5 km / 5 km / 16 kmSanction: Ski de fond QuébecEligibilityThe competition is open to all. All Quebec participants must hold a valid Ski de Fond Québec (SFQ) annual licence or buy a SFQ day licence with the online registration.RegistrationOnline registrations in zone4.ca. The deadline for registration is Thursday, October 31, 2019, at 11:59 p.m. No refund requests will be considered.Registration fees per race will be $15 for the 2.5 km participants and $20 for the 5 km and $25 for the 16 km. Registration fees are payable at the time of online registration. Race fees do not cover SFQ day license ($5).The confirmation list will be posted as soon as the registration platform opens in zone4.ca. It is recommended to check the list to ensure that there are no incongruities, in which case you are asked to contact the organizers no later than November 1, 2019 at 12 p.m.Bid pick-up: Starting at 8:30 in the race officeCourseThe races take place entirely on trails except for a road section of about 200 meters for the 5 and 16 km. The trails around Lac Beauchamp are quite wide and relatively not technical, but offer some surprises, especially in the eastern part of the park.The 2.5 km course consists of a loop entirely located in the western part of the park.The 5 km course consists of a loop that covers the entire western area of the park and part of the eastern area.The 16 km route consists of two 8 km loops covering almost the entire park.StadiumThe start and finish areas will be located on the Lac Beauchamp beach below the Chalet.Timing and resultsTiming will be done with the summit system and Zone 4.Results will be posted on zone4.ca at the end of the race.AwardsOn site, 20 minutes after the end of the race.Prizes awarded to the first three of each categoryFeedingWater, energy drinks and cookies will be served at the finish line.There will be a canteen/bake sale at the Chalet du Lac Beauchamp, a fundraising campaign for athletes of the Skinouk racing team, please support them!First aid: Les premiers soins seront assurés par l’Ambulance Saint-Jean.Access and Parking: The Lac Beauchamp Park is located at 741, boulevard Maloney Est, Gatineau (Google maps).
