MEC Wednesday Night Race Series

Join us on Wednesday night as Red River Nordic Ski and Biathlon hosts one of the longest running race series in Canada.   All 13 races are held at the Windsor Park Nordic Centre on the lit groomed trails.

This is a fun, participation based race series for skiers of all age and ability level.

The technique changes each week so be sure to check our schedule to make sure you bring the correct equipment. ( Pretty hard to skate with klister.)

Athletes need to be at the clubhouse by 7 p.m. to pick up their bibs as well as take part in the pre-race meeting.  Races start at 7:30.

The cost for each race is $5 plus admin fee.   Athletes who sign up for the complete series up front will save approx 30% compared to those signing up for one race at a time.

Reimbursement Policy

In the event a race is cancelled due to weather concerns, a message will be posted on the CCSAM website by 4 p.m. that day.

Athletes who have only signed up for that race will have their fees applied to the next race.  Athletes who have signed up for the entire season will not be reimbursed as this will count as one of the 3 free races that they get as a result of the  season discount.
