Fundraiser for the Alpine Insurance Alberta World Cup Academy

Strides and Glides Duathlon 3 km Running Race on Banff Trail followed by 5 km Freestyle Ski (Classic or Skate)

Solo or Teams of 2 (one does the running and other does the skiing part)

** Headlamps are mandatory to participate

Join us for Pizza & Beer/Pop and the Award Ceremony after the race at the Bill Warren Training Centre (Beer $6,50, Pop $1 and Pizza $5each).

About The Alpine Insurance Alberta World Cup Academy:

Since its inception in 2008, the Academy has provided high quality programming and unique training opportunities to ambitious cross-country skiers in the Bow Valley Region. Since 2018, the Academy has also extended its training offering to include the opportunity for athletes to attend post-secondary education in Calgary while training with us, as well as extending ski training opportunities to biathletes.

A revised course map will be provided as we get closer to the event date, taking into consideration the current construction ongoing near the Biathlon Stadium.
