Run for the Hills is a community participation event hosted by the Menihek Nordic Ski Club and sponsored by many employers in the community.

Run for the Hills is a running or walking event for children and adults along Menihek’s trail.

This year our children's race will be run on Bea's Pleasure and the adult race on Rideout's Run.

Traditionally, this annual event draws 200 participants from Wabush, Lab City, and Fermont.

The event will start at 1:00pm from the parking lot of the ski club.

Random draw prizes and participation awards (children) are completed by 2:45pm.

For insurance coverage purposes, all participants must register for the event including parents wishing to run/walk with their children.

There will be food and water

No pets allowed on the trail
