Event Information
A Fun Fundraiser
Proceeds from the Back Forty go towards new trail construction in Whistler and mountain bike programming for the Indigenous Life Sport Academy. Last year we raised $12,000 and thanks to the financial support from our sponsors we hope to raise $15,000 at this year’s event.

The Course
The Back Forty was inspired by the legendary NIMBY 50 and brings the spirit of that event to Whistler, in a totally different package. The three stage course stretches from Cheakamus, then up the Westside to Meadow Park.
This year’s course has a new Stage 1 in Cheakamus (Stages 1 and 2 from 2022 become Stages 2 and 3 for 2023). The 2023 finish is now in Alpine near the apres and parking locations.

Event Schedule
8:00am - 9:30am: Racer sign in and shuttle bike drop at RideWrap
8:30 am - 10:00am: Leave your car at designated parking areas (Whistler Secondary School or Camino Drive Parking Lot) and take the free shuttle from those locations to the starting line in Function. This means your vehicle will be waiting for you at Apres. There will be no bikes on the shuttle, so drop your bike off at sign in, first. DO NOT PARK AT MEADOW PARK.

PARKING AND SHUTTLE

There are two designated parking areas:
From 8:30am to 10:00am a free shuttle will bring racers from Camino Drive and Whistler Secondary School to registration and bike drop at RideWrap. This means your vehicle will be waiting for you at Apres. There will be no bikes on the shuttle, so drop your bike off at sign in, first. DO NOT PARK AT MEADOW PARK.
