For 37 years, the Sonot Kkaazoot has served as the Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks ‘ springtime celebration of the return of longer days and faster snow. This year's event will be held at Birch Hill Recreation Area on the Jim Whisentant Ski Trails and will feature 10km, 30km, and 50km distances.

Early bib pick-up and late registration: Thursday, March 21st from 5-7pm at Birch Hill Ski Center (upstairs)

NO race day registration. NO refunds.

Race Day

Bib pick-up at Birch Hill in Rikka's Roadhouse from 8-9:30am.

10Km race start at 10:00am

30Km & 50Km start at 10:15am

Awards & Dinner

Join us after the race for dinner and awards! 6pm Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Birch Hill Ski Center (101 Wilderness Drive). Winners of each age group for each distance will receive a beautiful, locally made Woodal (wood medal). Soups, breads, and beverages provided!
