Arrowhead Nordic Ski Club is excited to invite you to 3 days of racing fun! These races are open to all age categories.

Friday January 26

2:00 pm - 10 km Classic

5:30 pm - Ontario Masters AGM and Social

Saturday March 27

10:00 am - 10 km Skate

5:30 pm - Ontario Masters Banquet and Awards

Sunday January 28

10:30 am - 15/30 km Loppet (as part of the Muskoka Loppet)

The registration table (check-in, bib and GoChip pickup) will be in front of the Visitor Centre. It will be open 1 1/2 hours before start time.  Please do not leave your registration package pickup to the last minute.  If, for unforeseen reasons you arrive late, your package will be in the timing hut at the finish line.

There is no food at the Park.  Everyone needs to bring their own if needed.  We will offer bananas, Gatorade and water at the Finish Line.  There is a water station in the Visitor Centre.

*NEW THIS YEAR:

Nordiq Canada (our governing body) has amended their insurance coverage. This is called a "Tier3 Licence". What this means is that our club must charge a $3.00 fee to every race registrant per race.  This is an insurance-related fee and applies to everyone whether you have a race licence or not. The fee covers Nordiq Canada's increased insurance costs (charged by their insurer) for nordic races.

All clubs in Canada are subject to this new fee. This charge will be added to your race fee. However, Arrowhead Nordic Ski Club has decreased all of our registration fees by $3.00 to accommodate this cost.

Weather Considerations:

• The course is subject to change, without notice, due to weather and snow conditions.
• In case of very cold weather, start time may be delayed by up to 1 hour. Skiers will be given as much notice as possible.  Cancellation due to poor trail conditions or extreme cold weather will be announced by Wednesday, January 24th (barring unpredictable weather changes). Please check our website. There is no rain date. Refunds will be emailed out, less a $10 fee to cover the cost of the timing chips and the Zone4 fees.

Facilities:

• Arrowhead Provincial Park has a beautiful Visitor Centre and a Pavilion equipped with a waxing room. There are 5 ventilated waxing stations. Please see our website for details about this building, and about parking and washrooms.
