Join us for the inaugural races on the brand new FIS Homologated Competition Trails at the University of Alaska Fairbanks! These races are open to all active US Ski & Snowboard and FIS license holders, and double as the annual Alaska Nordic Cup competition between the UAF Nanooks and the UAA Seawolves.

Registration

• $35 per race or $50 for the weekend
• An active USS&S or FIS license is required
• U16 through Adult racers welcome
• Registration will close at 11:59 PM AKST on Tuesday, December 3, 2024

Official Training, Thursday, Dec. 5

• 10:00 AM - Draft Start Lists sent to Coaches for review - Corrections due by 12:00
• 11:00 AM - Course open for preview
• 3:00 PM - Course closed
• 2:30 PM - Team Captain’s Meeting (TCM), Nanook Lounge, UAF Patty Center
• 5:00 PM - Final Start Lists published to Zone4

Day 1, Friday, Dec. 6

• 10km Interval Start (30 sec) Freestyle Technique - 4 laps of 2.5 Kilometer Loop
• 9:00 AM - Trails open for inspection
• 9:30 AM - Bibs available for pickup - Student Rec Center, west end
• 11:00 AM - Men's first start
• 12:00 PM - Women's first start

Day 2, Saturday, Dec. 7

• 1.25km Sprints Classic Technique - 1 lap of 1.25 Kilometer Sprint Loop
• Qualifier - 15 sec interval starts
• 9:00 AM - Trails open for inspection
• 9:30 AM - Bibs available for pickup - Student Rec Center, west end
• 11:00 AM - Women's Qualifier (top-30 advance to Quarterfinals)
• 11:10 AM - Men's Qualifier (top-30 advance to Quarterfinals)
• 12:40 PM - Women's Quarterfinals (3 heats)
• 12:58 PM - Men's Quarterfinals (5 heats)
• 1:30 PM - Women's Semifinals
• 1:42 PM - Men's Semifinals
• 1:54 PM - Women's B Final
• 2:00 PM - Men's B Final
• 2:06 PM - Women's A Final
• 2:12 PM - Men's A final
• 30 min after final race ends - Awards (Top-3 Men and Women from Day 1 and Day 2)
