Fees: Zero but you must have a valid pass for Whistler Olympic Park
Day 1 Sprint

10:00 - 10:45 Zero
10:45 - 10:55 Meeting for athletes, coaches, and parents
11:00AM Race Start
Format: 3 x 1.5KM Loop
Shooting PP
Penalty loop for each missed shot (BiBC hosting policy will be used)
Day 2 Individual
Schedule:
10:00 - 10:45 Zero

Notes
- Distances and course may be modified by the race committee depending on conditions.
- Club rifles will be available for race participants who are members of either Sea to Sky
Nordics or West Coast Nordics if you do not have your own.
- Athletes must provide their own nordic ski equipment.
Qualifying for the BC Winter Games
- The top 2 male and top 2 female finishers for each zone qualify to attend the BC Winter
Games.
- Places will be determined based on athletes’ percentage relative to the average of the
top 3 finishers for each race. Results will be averaged for the two races.
- There is a possibility of additional wildcard spots as well.
Volunteers/Officials
- We invite all parents and family members to volunteer for the race. (ie: range setup,
target setting, scoring targets, start/finish line, course checking, etc). No prior biathlon
volunteer experience is necessary.
