Prairie Holiday Loppet

Let's finish and start the year off with a family oriented loppet at Windsor Park. Start the year off with friends and family outside on skis.

There is an event for everyone, pick your distance and enjoy the trails. Once finished enjoy a hot chocolate and other treats while standing around the fire with family and friends. The course will be designed

The distances will be 700m and 3.5km for kids and beginner skiers. While more experienced skiers can choose of between distances of approximately 7km, 14km or 21km. Choose the distance you'd like to ski, and enjoy the course designed to enable all to participate and enjoy.

The event will be freestyle.

Registration fees:

$15 dollars per person

or

$30 dollars per family (discount will be applied at checkout).

Pre-Race Meeting and Bib Pick up

There will be a pre-race meeting at 9:30 outside the clubhouse.

It will be a mass start freestyle event with a classic track on the side as much as we can for those who want to classic.

Start time will be at 10:00.

Kids will start 10:00 with the adults (bigger kids) starting at 10:30am.

The finish line will be the same for all races.

Post Community Potluck lunch

In the spirit of community during the holidays, let's have a moment to share the holiday cheer and have a post-race potluck.

Please contribute a dish if you're able to.

Some suggestions would be;

-crock pot meals, fruit or veggies, crackers and cheese, snacks, etc.

Depending on the weather we might be able to eat outside around the fire.
