Event Information
THE RACE IS ON!
We still have snow left after last night's rain.
Race courses will be adjusted based upon snow conditions.
We will keep the registration open until 2:00pm today.
Important Notes:
- Paranordic categories are available upon request to racing@mononordic.com
- Race registration on www.zone4.ca closes at 2:00pm on Friday, January 26, 2024 .
- Race may be canceled if poor or unsafe trail conditions at Mono Nordic.
- Decision for race cancellation will be posted on zone4.ca by 8:30am on Friday, Jan. 26. (Refunds less Zone 4 administrative costs only if the race is canceled).
- Distances may vary based on trail conditions
- No race day registrations
- Results will be posted on Zone4
- The pavilion is available for washrooms and warming up.
- There will be no food sales the day of the race.
- Bib Pickup: 9:30 – 10:00 am inside upper level of pavilion (the big brick building)
- Parking is available in the upper lot by the pavilion and the lower lot by the green garage
- Team Captains’ Meeting: 10:00 am outside of the lower level of the pavilion

Waxing Protocols
In order to increase accessibility of the sport, focus on athlete development and reduce costs, ONLY the use of non-fluoro (NF) liquids, gells, buffer waxes and paraffin glide waxes will be permitted. Hardners and Non-Fluoro (NF) powders are also NOT permitted. These restrictions apply to ALL categories but do not apply to grip waxes. Let's make this a fun race or everyone!
