    Event Information

    Join us for the University of Alaska Fairbanks Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association (RMISA) Invitational on the brand new FIS Homologated Competition Trails on the UAF campus! These races are open to all active US Ski & Snowboard and FIS license holders.

     Registration

    • Individuals: $35 per race or $50 for the weekend
    • RMISA Teams: $900
    • An active USS&S or FIS license is required
    • U16 through Adult racers welcome
    • Registration will close at 11:59 PM AKST on Wednesday, February 12, 2025

    Friday, February 14

    • 13:00 PM - Draft Start Lists sent to Coaches for review - Corrections due by Feb 15 @ 12PM

    Official Training, Saturday, Feb. 15

    • 10:00 AM - Course open for preview
    • 12:00 PM - Start List corrections due
    • 3:00 PM - Team Captain’s Meeting (TCM), Nanook Lounge, UAF Patty Center
    • 4:00 PM - Course closed
    • 7:00 PM - Final Start Lists published to Zone4

    Day 1, Sunday, Feb. 16

    • 1.3km Sprints Classic Technique - 1 lap of 1.3km Sprint Loop
    • Qualifier - 15 sec interval starts
    • 9:00 AM - Trails open for inspection
    • 9:30 AM - Bibs available for pickup for Qualifier - Student Rec Center, west end
    • 11:00 AM - Women’s Qualifier (top 30 advance to Quarterfinals)
    • 11:15 AM - Men’s Qualifier (top 30 advance to Quarterfinals)

    • 1:00 PM - Women's Quarterfinals (5 heats)
    • 1:30 PM - Men's Quarterfinals (5 heats)
    • 2:06 PM - Women's Semifinals
    • 2:24 PM - Men's Semifinals
    • 2:42 PM - Women's Final
    • 2:54 PM - Men's Final

    Day 2, Monday, Feb. 17

    • 10km Interval Start (30 sec) Freestyle Technique - 4 laps of 2.5km Loop
    • 9:00 AM - Trails open for inspection
    • 9:30 AM - Bibs available for pickup - Student Rec Center, west end
    • 11:00 AM - Men’s first start
    • 12:45 PM - Women’s first start
    • Awards ceremony for both days after results are certified - Top-3 RMISA Men and Women - approximately 30 min after last finisher
