Think you’ve got what it takes… or at least a good sense of humor?
Are you looking to kick off the new year by challenging yourself?
Curious about trail running?
Wondering how far your legs (and sanity) can take you in a set amount of time?
Or maybe you just want to run around the woods with cool people and call it a win?
Say no more.
We’re inviting you to join the
VERY FIRST Snake Hill Backyard Ultra
right here in
Sundre, Alberta
on
Saturday, May 30, 2026
9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Your mission (should you choose to accept it):
Complete as many
6.7 km laps
as you can—
one every hour
—through the
rooty, rocky, muddy, leg-testing trails of Snake Hill
. When the hour resets, you go again. When you don’t… you’re done. Simple. Brutal. Glorious.
Run one lap. Run ten. Run until your legs question your life choices.
This event is about
grit, community, and having a ridiculous amount of fun outdoors
.
