For 38 years, the Denali State Bank Sonot Kkaazoot has served as the Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks ' springtime celebration of the return of longer days and faster snow. This year's event will be held at Birch Hill Recreation Area on the Jim Whisentant Ski Trails and will feature 10km, 30km, and 50km distances.

All registration for this event is online, with payment by credit card. There is no hard copy registration or check/cash payment.

No refunds. Registration closes at 11:59pm on March 20. No race day registration.

Changing Races

Racers who wish to switch races must do so at the bib pickup event on Thursday, March 20 at Birch Hill Ski Center. Participants who switch to a shorter race than originally registered for will not be refunded the difference in registration cost. Participants who switch to a longer race than originally registered for will be responsible for paying the difference in the registration cost.

Early bib pick-up and late registration: Thursday, March 20th from 5-7pm at Birch Hill Ski Center (upstairs)

Bib pick-up at Birch Hill in Rikka's Roadhouse from 8-9:30am.

10Km race start at 10:00am

30Km & 50Km start at 10:15am

Awards & Dinner

Join us after the race for dinner and awards! 6pm Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Birch Hill Ski Center (101 Wilderness Drive). Winners of each age group for each distance will receive a beautiful, locally made Woodal (wood medal). Soups, breads, and beverages provided!
