The Canadian Birkebeiner Society Presents

its first (annual) Bikenbender Gravel Bike Race!

This event is designed for both new and experienced riders and can be completed using a cyclocross, gravel or mountain bike.

The race starts at 8:30 AM , Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Blackfoot Lake Staging Area at the North Eastern corner of Cooking Lake/Blackfoot Provincial Recreation Area. The area is 4 km south of Highway 16, using RR 195.

The ride takes you along the undulating grass trails and gravel roads. The course is 37 km long with three timed segments within the route. The placings will be determined by the sum of the times for the three timed segments. A large loop, with riders also finishing in the same location as the start.

Registration information:

• Registration opens June 1 and closes September 3.
• Early Bird Price: $95, June 1 to July 15.
• Price: $135, July 16 to August 15.
• Wait for me, last minute price: $150, August 15 to September 3.
• Maximum of 150 participants
