Race Entry Fees: Adults (21+) - $20.00 (all distances), Cruisers recreation category $10.00 Children (2-20) - $5.00
Distances: 42km (4x10.5), 21km (2x10.5), 10.5km, 5km and 2.5km
Eligibility:
Races are open to all skiers of registered club in NL and/or Nordiq Canada.
Skiers who are not registered with a registered club in NL and/or Nordiq Canada permitted to ski, but are noteligible for awards
Registration Deadline: Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 5: 00 PM

Coaches Meeting: Friday, March 7, 7:00pm at Blow Me Down Lodge
Bib Pick up: Saturday March 8, 9:30am at the Blow Me Down Lodge
Race Start: Saturday March 8:
10:00 am Classic Race, Mass Start.
11:00 am Skate Race, Mass Start
Social and Awards: Saturday March 8, 7:00pm at the Blow Me Down Lodge
Cost $25.00 per person, stuffed chicken breast dinner and desert
Children $10.00, hamburger and fries
Dance to follow at 9:30pm $5.00
Important Notes
Classic skiers: Any skier planning to complete the 42 km course by classic
technique must alert the Chief of Race on or before the coaches meeting on Friday, March 7th.
Classic Skiers registered for 42km will start 1 hour ahead of everyone
else (anticipated start time 10:00 a.m).
Race Hydration Stations: Gatorade and water will be provided at Gazebo Hill (6km) and the
Blow Me Down Lodge (stadium area) (10.5km)
Food: Canteen services will be provided at the Blow Me Down lodge.
Waxing: The wax hut will be open for race participants only.
• Clubs/racers will be responsible for providing their own
waxing forms.
• Wax testing areas will be available.

Club Trophies
Ernie Langins Trophy: Awarded to the club with the highest participation level.
Arthur Baker Trophy: Awarded to the fastest team (3 skiers) on the 42 km course.
Percy Pieroway Trophy: Awarded to the fastest team (3 females) on the 42 km course.
Note: A female can only qualify for one team on the 45 km course (they cannot qualify for both
the Arthur Baker Trophy and Percy Pieroway Trophy).

Any Late entries will be at the discretion of the race committee.

Coaches Meeting
Friday, March 7, 7 p.m. at the Blow-Me-Down Club.
A zoom or teams invite will be provided for those traveling at that time.
Awards
Medals for first, second & third place for all Medal categories.
There are no awards for recreational categories.
Awards will be presented at the banquet. The top three in each category will receive awards.
