What is an enduro race?

If you don’t follow the current trends in mountain bike racing, enduro racing might be a bit of a mystery to you.

It’s the latest highly popular racing trend in the MTB scene where the downhill sections of trail are timed, and the uphill sections are mandatory (ie: not on a chairlift or shuttle vehicle) but are not timed. The race will include 3-4 stages of timed downhill fun, fastest combined time wins.

Stay tuned to the Bike Cochrane social media pages and we will provide a sneak peak of what the event will entail.

Parents are welcome to ride with their young racers and can follow behind during the timed stages. For racers under 7 years old towwhee type devices are permitted.

Racer tech guide will be released closer to race time.

*All racers and riding parents must be Bike Cochrane members. Discounted youth membership available.

**This is simply because the event takes place on private land owned by the Cochrane Ag Society. Their policy since the beginning has been that all riders must hold Bike Cochrane memberships. This is to cover the insurance liabilities and is why they allow us to build trails on their land. Please support this**

This event is entirely volunteer-run, and all proceeds go directly toward supporting our trails and programming. Due to the time and resources involved in organizing the event, we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds if your plans change and you can no longer make it. We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us keep this event running smoothly for everyone involved.
