For more than 20 years, the "Beat the Blues Boogie Loppet" has been raising funds for research for melanoma cancer in the name of Roger Tetrault. The "Boogie" is hosted by the Strathcona Wilderness Centre with Laura Tetrault and family.
This fun race and fundraiser originated with Roger Tetrault, to raise spirits and awareness of melanoma cancer.
This free technique event (classic or skate welcome!) is open to all ages and abilities. There will categories for adults, teen, youth, Para Nordic, jackrabbits and bunnies.

Everyone is welcome to check out and try out the latest skis, skin skis, boots and pole equipment at the displays outside of the Info Centre. Drop by to have a chat, ask questions and get a preview for the 2025-2026 ski season.
Refreshments: Post-event BBQ is included in the event fee for all participants.
