This year is the 46th Annual Wild Goose Chase - Vanderhoof Community Foundation Fundraiser . It's happening on Saturday, May 9th , 2026 in Vanderhoof, BC.

**NEW: All registered runners and walkers must participate on foot. No registered runners or walkers permitted in strollers, on bikes, on scooters, etc. If you MUST bring along a person in a stroller with you during YOUR run or walk, you must also add them to your registration and fill out a waiver form for them.

Race Starts at 10:00am on Saturday, May 9th , at W.L. McLeod Elementary School

Race # pickup 8:45 to 9:30am

Registration will be open until midnight on Thursday, May 7th, 2026.

NO LATE REGISTRATIONS and NO DAY-OF REGISTRATIONS

Age is as of December 31, 2026

3.5 km run categories (Male and Female):

8 and under (Must be completed entirely on foot - no strollers, bikes, etc.)

13 to 15

8km run categories (Male and Female)(65 minute time limit):

Awards:

Male and Female first overall in all 3 races - $25 and new running socks

Medals to top 3 in all age group categories

All youth age 8 and under (as of December 31, 2026) get a medal!
