Saber Scramble - Youth and Beginner Mountain Bike Race - Thursday June 4th, 2026

The Girls Cycling Club at West Hants Middle School is hosting a fundraiser Mountain Bike Race on June 4th at Irishman's Road Recreation Site in Windsor, Nova Scotia.

This race is open to school age participants and adult beginners who have ever wanted to try out a mountain bike race in a supportive, fun environment. Whether you are a student looking for a new challenge or an adult ready to hit the trails for a great cause, we want to see you there! Location: Irishman's Road Recreation Site - 151 Irishmans Rd, Windsor, NS

Tentative Start times/Categories

Grade 3 and below: 5 pm

Grades 4-6: 6 pm

Grades 7-12 and adult beginner: 7pm

Registration: $25

Sanctioned by Cycling NS.

Course will feature a mixture of single track and crusher trails appropriate for beginners. Final course design is subject to weather adjustments.

Registration will occur near the start/finish zone. A safety meeting will also be held here just prior to the race.
