Georgian Nordic Outdoor Activity Centre invites everyone to participate in the 2026 Georgian Nordic King's Court Sprints on Sunday March 1st 2026.

(This is a SOD Paraffin Race Series event)

This event is meant to be a fun introductory experience to cross-country sprint skiing for skiers of all ages and abilities.

EVENT DETAILS:

- All athletes will ski a qualifier race on the appropriate distance course in free technique, except for U8 and U10 athletes who will ski in classic technique.

• U8 and U10 ski a 150 m course.
• U12 and U14 ski a 600 m course.
• U16 and older ski a 800 m course.

- Following the qualifier races, athletes will be placed in Kings Court heat brackets according to their place finish in the qualifier race.

Start groups for all races will be determined once registration closes and may involve collapsing genders or ages. In Kings Court Sprints, all athletes will get to race a quarter final, semi-final and a final heat.

10:30 am: Sprint Qualifier

11:15 am: King's Court Sprint Heats - Round 1

12:30 pm: SOD Paraffin Race Series Awards & U10 Sprints Awards

1:00 pm: King's Court Sprint Heats - Round 2

2:00 pm: King's Court Sprint Heats - Round 3 - FINALS

Waxing Protocol: In order to increase accessibility of the sport, focus on athlete development, and protect the environment; any ski waxing products that contain fluoride compounds are NOT permitted . Hardeners are also not permitted . This restriction applies to all categories, including Open and Masters, and in all events part of the Sounder Ski Tour 2026. This restriction also applies to grip waxes.
