Welcome to the registration page for the 2026 NOD Team Sprints (Feb 28) and the Bluesky Loppet (Mar 1). If you have any questions or require assistance, please contact the North Bay Nordic Ski Club at races@northbaynordic.ca. Note: the use of fluorinated wax or tuning products containing fluorine including kick wax is not allowed for all events.

Registration closes at 11:59 am EST, Thursday February 26th, 2026. Loppet registration closes at 11:59 pm EST, Friday February 27th. Payment must be made, and event waivers completed online at the time of registration. Confirmation lists will be posted on the Zone4 website, and any errors must be reported to the Competition Secretary (races@northbaynordic.ca) by Friday February 27th at 12:00 pm.

Day of registrations for the Loppet may be possible, however not guaranteed. Please register in advance.

Refunds:

We wish to encourage early registration. It helps us plan. We have a flexible cancellation policy.

If we receive a request to withdraw from the event in writing prior to the close of regular registration by noon on Thursday, February 26th, you will receive a refund of your registration fees and HST less a $10 administration fee. You will forfeit zone4 and credit card fees.

If required, due to inappropriate snow, poor trail conditions, insufficient registration, or force majeure, all or part of the event will be cancelled. In such a case, you will receive a refund of a portion of your registration, based on expenses already incurred less a $10 administration fee. You will forfeit zone4 and credit card fees.

Safe Sport

Athletes, coaches, officials, staff, and volunteers have the right to a safe and inclusive environment, free from maltreatment and creating a safe environment is a top priority and a responsibility of all sport participants. XCSO and the North Bay Nordic Ski Club have adopted the Nordiq Canada Pan Canadian Safe Sport Policy Suite. If you are experiencing, or you suspect someone else is experiencing, abuse, discrimination, violence or other forms of maltreatment, contact the Canadian Sport Helpline or the onsite SafeSport officer. These individuals can connect you with support and help you file a complaint. For emergencies, call 9-1-1.

Mandatory Fees for Athletes:

Please note that all racers are required to pay an additional Tier 3 event fee of $3.00 per race. This is a mandatory event fee for Tier 3 events sanctioned by XCSO (as a division of Nordiq Canada) where the cost is greater than $5.
