Awards will be given to top 10 skiers in each division, as soon as official results are posted. Awards made by Tyson Helm and donated by Harmon Hearth and Home Custom Construction. Team Awards will follow individual awards.

Protests:

Any protests need to be made in writing prior to the release of official results. Protests can be reported at the timing hut or given to Samantha Lawrence. As per protocol, protest decisions will be determined by 3 uninvolved coaches.

Race Warnings:

Any skiers found skiing backwards on the course will be disqualified. If athletes are unable to complete the course, please take the race bib off or turn inside out, and continue towards the stadium in the direction of the race. If assistance is needed, athletes should communicate with a course marshall who can radio for help.

Spectators:

Please stay on paths marked for foot traffic only, there will be a spot along the start/finish for spectators. Spectators are allowed on course if they are on skis, they must stay out of the way of racers and ski in the direction of the course only. Please be respectful of the grooming.

Team Camp Areas:

There will be a space between the storage sheds and parking lot for team camp areas, please keep ski bags organized and off the trail. It is marked in red on the map. Please walk on the side of the trails when necessary to avoid causing damage to the grooming.

Parking:

The parking lot at the biathlon venue is extremely limited. (This is the current plan, we are still finalizing details and will send an update if things change.) We will have the majority of parking take place at the Nordic Lodge (9301 Casper Mountain Rd). There will be a shuttle bus to take people to and from the race venue. Buses are allowed to drop skiers off at the venue but we ask them to park in the Skunk Hollow parking lot.

Skiers will not be able to access the buses and there is not a lodge facility at the venue.

Please prepare accordingly.

Bathrooms:

There are vault bathrooms available in the parking lot at the venue. Please be respectful with use of the bathrooms, help keep them clean and do not put trash down the toilets.

Medical:

On site medical will be provided from medical professional parents of skiers. They will be located in the stadium throughout the day.

Weather :

The races will take place at the Casper Mountain Biathlon Club race venue - weather can be dramatically different between the city of Casper and the race location.

BBQ after the race:

Unfortunately this year we will not be able to host our annual BBQ. We hope to continue this tradition next year.

Huge thank you to The Casper Nordic Club and Natrona County Parks Division for all their help in preparing and putting on the race! Please make sure to thank them when you see them!
