The Don Sumanik Weekend is two-day event consisting of an Interval Start Classic Technique Race on Saturday January 10th and a fun Team Sprint, Free Technique, on Sunday January 11th.

This event is also a training event for our Arctic Winter Games Officials.

Boreal Cup Series #3: Don Sumanik Weekend

Location: Whitehorse Nordic Centre (WNC) Stadium & Chalet

Saturday January 10th

• Format/Technique: Interval Start, Classic (except U8 & U10: Mass Start)
• Distances: 1.25 to 10km

Sunday January 11th

• Format: Team Sprint - 2 skiers; 3 laps each, alternating each lap
• Technique: Freestyle, Sprint Start
• Distances: all age categories will ski 3 x 800m each; except U8: 3 x 400m each
