Event Overview

Ile a la Crosse Ski Club is excited to host our loppet again this year! Your registration includes during ski support (fires, hot drinks and food), race swag (custom ball cap), draw prizes and tons of fun. And you can always head up to Buffalo Narrows on the Sunday and ski on your own to make it a modified double header event!

For travelers, there are several hotel and B&Bs in both Buffalo Narrows and Ile a la Crosse and the communities are just a 45min drive apart. Load up a vehicle with friends and come see what the North has to offer. We look forward to seeing lots of new faces and familiar ones as well!

When : SATURDAY, March 21st, 2026 at 11:00am-2:00pm

Where: The event will start and finish at the Ile-a-la Crosse Ski Trails just outside of beautiful Ile-a-la Crosse, Saskatchewan. Parking is available along the road leading to the trail; you will be directed where to park!

What : Skiers will have 3 hours to complete any distance they desire! Classic trails total approximately 8.5 km (there are a variety of loop distances) and there will be a suitable distance for any level of skier to complete. There will be aid stations with fires, food and drink provided along the course. Entry fee includes great skiing, refreshments and prizes.
