Introduction

Cross Country Canada have FINALLY done away with the need for credit card names to match the 'signer' of online waivers.  This is HUGE as clubs will no longer need to follow up and collect paper waivers from mismatched 'signers' or from people who pay by cash/cheque.  This means clubs can go completely paperless with their registrations with no need for paper waivers and everything captured online.  This change also means the waivers can now be moved from the Cart level (which was previously needed to capture a single 'signers' name) to the Individual level where a simple mandatory checkbox agreeing to the waiver is all that is required.  These changes will save countless hours and headache for both club registrars and club members.

Adding the Waiver to your Form
To make the process even easier for clubs, we have implemented the new waiver as a "Preset Field" that you can add to your form in two clicks. On your Individual level fields, on your left side "Add New Individual Field" panel, just scroll to the bottom of the list of Preset Fields and select the "CCC Waiver".



The Waiver is "mandatory" regardless of the setting and no changes should ever be needed to the field settings as all the wording is provided automatically.

In your form preview, the waiver is represented by a simple text placeholder.

On the Public side of your form, the CCC waiver wording is automatically added according to the users language setting.  This is a great benefit to clubs with both Francophone and Anglophone members as only the selected language version is presented without having to fit both of them onto the same form.

The simple mandatory checkbox can then be checked by member when registering.

CCC has also requested that registrants have the option to sign up for their monthly newsletter.  This is implemented by an opt-in checkbox and an expanding area for an email address for the newsletter.
