Cross Country Canada is pleased to launch their Inside Track Program for 2014.  The Inside Track program is a fundraising campaign designed to create engagement with our clubs and members around the country, while also generating revenues for CCC and for your ski club for investment in national and local development programs.

This year’s program will seek donations of $20.14 to support Canada’s cross country skiers on the road to the 2014 Olympics in Sochi and beyond. Donors will receive an exclusive “Inside Track” welcome package from Cross Country Canada, including official CCC stickers and a signed trading card of one of our 2014 Olympians.  Inside Track Members will also receive discounts on products and services from CCC’s Inside Track program partners.  Most importantly: $5 from every Inside Track membership will be directed back to the donor’s local ski club.  The balance of program proceeds will go towards providing funding for CCC development programs such as Jackrabbits and Track Attack, as well as the National Ski Team and 2014 Sochi Olympic Athletes. With every donation, your club members will be supporting our collective mission to develop and deliver programs that drive Canadian excellence in cross-country skiing.

Zone4 has worked with us to integrate this program into our CCC Waiver and Newsletter signup panel already present on clubs registration forms.  The Inside Track program can be joined by any member by just selecting that option at the bottom of the waiver area as seen below:

In order to keep things simple for clubs, the $20.14 amount is charged separately to Cross Country Canada's merchant account and kept completely separate from clubs own fees and subtotals.  This program will have no affect on your current registration forms in terms of money collected, remit, or reported.  If members elect to join the program and make the $20.14 donation, their checkout will appear as below with two charges stemming from the one payment entry.  The club's fees will remain as they always have and CCC's charge will appear separately on member credit cards as a $20.14 charge by "Cross Country Canada".  The $5 that Cross Country Canada directs back to the club for every signup will be dispersed at the end of the year as a lump sum payment. 

Donations can only be made via credit card so in the event that your club has enabled cash/cheque payments and a member elects to pay the club by cash/cheque, they are then asked to proceed to Cross Country Canada's dedicated signup page (here: http://www.cccski.com/Donate/Inside-Track-Rewards/Inside-Track-Rewards-Sign-Up-Page.aspx) after completing their normal Zone4 registration.

As with the the rest of the CCC Waiver panel, the auto-provided text and images are all bilingual based on the members signup settings.

The program has been enabled by default for all clubs in Canada.  For those that would like to opt-out of the program, you are able to do so by editing your "CCC Waiver" preset field and selecting "No" for the "Enable CCC Inside Track Program" setting.
