Our Zone4 Team is very fortunate to be able to travel to numerous events across Canada and work closely with the Volunteers that are giving their time and energy to help make these events a success.  At the World Junior Trials in Duntroon, Ontario this year, we met a unique volunteer who had extraordinary computer skills and was able to easily grasp the technology of the Zone4 Timing program.  James MacLean says he is "an avid skier and Team Hardwood parent", however, we also discovered that he has a day job at a little company called Google!

James revealed that he has been kindly worked on creating a new Zone4 Filter feature.   This is a Chrome extension that creates a filter on Zone4 Startlists and Results pages so that you can focus on teams and categories that interest you.  In order to access this Zone4 Filter, go to the Google Chrome Webstore, and download it.

If you are wanting to look up the Start Times for a particular Club, such as Team Hardwood,  go to the Start List page on Zone4, and then open the Chrome Zone4 Filter.  On the Filter, you can check mark which club you would like to view.  This is a useful feature for coaches and in the wax room who can quickly locate their own athletes on the Start List. As results come in, the filter will allow coaches and parents to quickly sort and check their team's results.

You can check mark as many clubs on the list that you would like to follow.

Similarly if you would like to follow the results of only one category such as the “Juvenile Boys”, then you can check mark that.  If you select Juvenile Boys and Team Hardwood, then the selection will be filtered even more.

You can also filter by Year of Birth.
