Camrose Ski Club Trail Building Workshop
We will be hosting a mountain bike trail building workshop September 21-22, 2019. The workshop will be taught by Justin Truelove from the International Mountain Bike Association. If you are interested in participating, The registration will open on Friday, August 16 th and close Tuesday Sept 17 th at midnight.
Cost: The workshop is free for Camrose Ski Club members. For non-members, the workshop fee is $75.00. When you register on zone4, there will be no charge if you are a club member. If you aren’t a club member, we encourage you to buy a club membership – individual or family.
Workshop Limit: The workshop capacity is 30 people. Please feel free to share this information with non-members throughout Alberta. All are welcome.
Tentative Workshop Outline
Saturday – September 21
Morning (9:00am) - Classroom/Theory session (At Augustana Campus, Room F305)
Afternoon - Hands on Trail Building (Stoney Creek Trails – specific meeting place TBA)
Sunday – September 22
A combination of trail building and riding (Stoney Creek Trails – specific meeting place TBA)
Things to bring:
· Water bottle
· Lunch and snacks
· Work gloves
· Any rakes, shovels, picks, McLeods etc. that you have access too
· Appropriate clothing for the weather
