BEFORE REGISTERING >>PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION AND BE AWARE AS YOU WILL NEED TO AGREE YOU UNDERSTAND BEFORE YOU CAN REGISTER.

Firstly, We are excited to be able to plan for the 2021 Wasa Triathlon. We all need to be mindful at this time that the COVID-19/Pandemic situation is currently and possibly at the time of the event affecting us all and what we do and where we go. We are doing our best to line things up so we will be able to host a successful 2021 event.

CHANGES and CHALLENGES: The Covid situation is very fluid and affecting us all in many ways. We will do our part in following ALL the expected guidelines and restrictions understanding we may run into challenges we cannot over come as in 2020. We are hopeful this will not be the case. Some adaptions may create the need to run participants through waves, set specific time slots for arrival, entering transition, how we manage race-bag pickup and even affect the meals (possibly a Grab n Go style). We hope you will be patient/flexible with us and happy to be able to race again or for your first time at our event. Understand there will be a need for change, to what extent we do not know for sure at this time. It is likely to expect changes to the flow/schedule and limitations on other race day options that we usually offer. With that said, there is also the need to be concerned about the well being of the event and it's ability to remain operational in the future as it has for over 20 years. With this in mind we have had to issue a new Registration/refund policy as well, please read below.

2021 Registration Policy:

All entries are NON-REFUNDABLE , NON-TRANSFERABLE to another athlete/event and NON-DEFERRABLE to a future event, *unless meets specific exceptions below.

By registering for any event with RM Events, you are AGREEING to ALL of RM Event’s (Gerick Sports Wasa Triathlon) policies and the policies of the sanctioning body, Triathlon BC and the governing bodies of Triathlon Canada and acknowledge that these policies are applied, without prejudice, to all registrants. There are 2 waivers with a few extra steps involved and are required to be accepted to register, please ensure you read them and know what you are agreeing to.

By registering you agree to adhere to the local and provincial (BC) Covid-19/Pandemic restrictions at the time of the event, understanding the restrictions are ‘fluid’ based on the current Covid-19/Pandemic situation at the time of the event and may require changes to the event and it's operations.

*If the event you have registered for in 2021 is unable to take place due to COVID-19 and/or GLOBAL PANDEMIC, and/or you are unable to attend due to COVID-19/Global Pandemic/Government travel restrictions registrants options will be as follows:

-     Free entry deferral to 2022 event ( extra meal tickets purchased will be refunded).

-     Trikid registrants will be reimbursed, if requested, the base registration fee (does not include processing fees)

*Exceptions to Registration unrelated to COVID-19 and/or Pandemic:

IF Registrant unable to participate due to new medical condition unrelated to COVID-19/Pandemic (must provide medical note from doctor):

-     Free entry deferral to 2022 ( extra meal tickets purchased will be refunded)
