Beginner - Intermediate Ski Lessons

Expert ski coach Don Wales will have you skiing, or skiing better, in 4 fun lessons! A number of experienced assistants from the Parkland Ski Club will help to ensure you have the attention you need to learn or improve your classic ski technique so you can glide along Red Deer's beautiful trails with more comfort. If time permits, Don will also introduce the skate skiing technique. Lessons run Mondays and Wednesdays at River Bend Golf and Recreation area just to the left (west) of the club house, starting February 3, 2020 from 6:30-8:00 pm.

Masters Tune-Up

Join former international ski racer Kit Richmond and experienced Red Deer Nordic coaches for an on-snow adult ski-skill improvement program . The focus of the program will be on technique development (uphill/downhill/flats/mobility), skiing efficiency, strength and fun! An ability to comfortably ski for over an hour will be an asset. Lessons run at River Bend Golf and Recreation area Tuesdays from 7:00-8:30 pm January 14 & 28; February 4, 11 & 25; and March 3 & 10.
