Nancy Greene "World Cup" Camp

Date: December 5 & 6, 2020

Cost: $150 approximately (lift tickets are not included)

Meeting Time:

-Saturday 8:45 am in front of the Lake Louise day lodge

-Sunday 8:45 am in front of the Sunshine lower lodge

Rough Itinerary:

-Meet the group at 8:45am boots on, ready to go for warm-up

-Load first chairlift 9:00am SHARP

-Lunch @ 11:00am in front of the day lodge, parents are responsible for making sure athletes have lunch. Coaches will not be entering the lodge for any reason.

-11:45am meet in front of the day lodge to continue skiing

-Pick up around 3:00pm in front of the day lodge

Camp Focus: Despite the World Cup not happening this season, we will be keeping on with tradition in running our first Nancy Greene camp of the season! We will start Saturday by skiing along the world cup track, explaining the logistics of the downhill to the kids, doing a bit of warm-up and technical free skiing, and finish off with some fun fast-paced free skiing! Sunday will consist of more technical skiing, focusing on early season balance and stability, while playing around on the fun terrain that Sunshine has to offer.

Eligibility: All U12, U10 and U8 athletes that are comfortable skiing all blue and most black runs, plus competent at riding chairlifts by themselves with confidence .

Deadline: The sign up deadline will be Tuesday, December 1st, at 12:00 hrs .
