Officials Level 1 Training Registration
The Nordiq Canada Officials Level 1 Certification Course for cross country skiing provides an overview of what a cross country ski competition is all about. The focus is on the duties of minor officials for both "Olympic" style (interval start, pursuit start, mass start, relays and sprints) and "Loppet" style (mass participation) competitions. This is the first step towards becoming a Nordic official.
Prerequisites
An interest in officiating.
Minimum age of 16 years.
COVID-19 vaccination - 2 doses.
Course Schedule
Saturday, October 30
8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
(half hour break for lunch)
There will also be a small pre-seminar reading assignment and quiz, to be done before the course starts. Details will be sent to all registrants.
To Bring
A notepad and pen. If possible, please bring a laptop or tablet computer. Lunch, snacks and water.
