Event #6 – The Nog Jog

This is the 6th and final event of our 2021 “5k Fun Walk/Run Challenge”.

It is your last chance if you have completed 2 events to receive a medal for your 3rd event.

Earn this Glorious Series Medal and the adoration of all your friends and family!

People who completed 6 events you can claim your 6 event prize!

All participants must respect the Chief Public Health Officer's rules and social distancing.

As usual please note this is a fun non-competitive event!

When walking/running be sure to:

• bring a phone with you for emergency,
• plan proper fueling (food/water),
• dress for the conditions, proper footwear being extremely important,
• Watch out for and stay clear of all wildlife,
• plan your route to avoid congestion, traffic and obey all traffic laws,
• DO NOT use headphones,
• particularly with virtual people, notify someone when you start and finish your route. (RoadID, Strava and other APPS have a function that can live broadcast your position!)

There are no prizes for first place. The only requirement is that you participate and have a good time. Run for a PB, walk with a dog or just have a nice day out celebrating how awesome we/you are!!

Date: December 19, 2021 - Check in at 9:30am, with a staggered start. Event ends promptly at 11:30am

Cost: $15 (participants aged 17** and under are free - a parent or guardian must sign the waiver)

The route will be marked and is the Framelake Trail along the paved side of Framelake trail only.

Check in/Start Line - 9:30am at Sombe'ke Park.

Finish line: Sombe'Ke Park - Volunteers will leave promptly at 11:30am

**This event can be done virtually if you are unable to make it to the event. Virtual signinups count towards claiming medals. If you sign up to the virtual, please email ykmultisport@gmail.com or post on our Facebook page when you are done the event virtually to let us know how it went.**
