WHO WE ARE:

We are a club of dedicated mountain biking fanatics that love to ride. Our club offers group rides for intermediate-plus to advanced riders, special events, and trail maintenance opportunities. We are an affiliated cycling club with the Alberta Bicycle Association (ABA) and Canadian Cycling Association (CCA).

Our members range in ages and abilities ranging from uber weekend warriors to competitive elite racers.

WHAT WE OFFER:

Group Rides

• We offer year-round, weekly mountain bike rides led by our experienced Hardcore Ride Leaders who know the Edmonton single-track inside and out. These structured club rides are not for beginners; we ride every trail at a range of speeds. We have something for those who want a relax ride to those who want to hammer.

Race Support

• Our club runs a bi-weekly Fat Tire Tuesday mountain bike series, the Hardcore HopNHurl Cyclocross Race, and any other ABA events that Hardcore hosts. All Hardcore Club members receive free race entries.

JOINING GROUP RIDES

Our ride locations and group sizes are organized through TrackItForward (TIF). You will receive an invitation to TIF no later than three days after you sign up.

In addition to our club rides, a Hardcore Club Membership gets you:

• Dedicated ride leaders who can challenge and guide you on rides in the city and on destination rides.
• A pair of custom cycling socks and a water bottle, pickup at Hardcore Bike Shop
• ABA third party liability and sport accident insurance
• Reduced ABA racing license fees
• Free entry into our Fat Tire Tuesday mountain bike races.
• Club members receive the following discount from HARDCORE BIKE SHOP: 10% off parts and accessories. Discounts on bikes available to members who actively volunteer with the club. Discounts are brand-dependent.
• Invitation to our club sponsored functions

COST OF MEMBERSHIP: $100 Annual Club Membership, non-refundable (this has increased by $5 from the previous season due to an increase in insurance costs).
