XC Bragg Creek 2015-16 ski program registration

2015 2016 ski registration  - spots still available for most programs! (scroll to bottom "continue" button to register)

If programs are full, please email: programdirector@xcbraggcreek.ca and ask to be put on a wait list - specify the program, name and age.  Spots may be opened if our coach staffing permits.  I will respond once a spot opens on a first come first serve basis.

***New this year: Bunnies, T2T, Rec Ski, Competitive Team, Adult Guided Ski

***$150/child deposit cheques will be collected & returned uncashed with a min of 5 volunteer hours/child.  Lots of fun jobs to choose from:) Our club is growing and we need your volunteer support.  (No need for XCBC coaches to write deposit cheques)

***New*** Zone 4 will automatically link  you to a tax receipt print off option if the program is eligible (only ages 16 yrs and under at start of year are eligible). At the bottom after registration is complete.

***Families who have not yet attended an XCBC waxing session must attend 1 of the following complimentary waxing lessons: Tues Nov 24/15, Fri Nov 27/15

Our club has a built in assessment & catch up program.  We will place your skier in a similar skilled group and they will be bumped up in levels if their skill outgrows their current group.

Bunnies

(age 5)

$90 (after Oct 30, add $30)

Fri only 4-5pm

Jan 8/15 - Mar 4/16

no classes: Jan 29, Feb 19

A parent or responsible adult must be present during these classes to assist their youngster

Lessons held in West Bragg Ski Trails or Redwood Meadows if snow conditions are poor

If conditions are considered dangerous or risky, classes are subject to be cancelled. Cold weather cutoff is -15 for Bunnies

Jackrabbits

(age 6-9)

$120 (after Oct 30, add $30)

Fri only 4-5pm

Dec 4/15 - Mar 4/16

All Jackrabbit lessons West Bragg Ski Trails or Redwood Meadows if poor snow conditions in West Bragg

Track Attack

(ages 9-12)

(ages 9-18)

These classes are for skiers that wish to improve their ski technique with longer distances, skills and games - only 1 day/week, non-competitive.

If you are under 9 years old, please see our "Bunnies" & Jackrabbits" programs.

Classic ski equipment necessary, cold weather cancellation of -15

Competitive Team

(ages 12+)

$300 (after Oct 30, add $30)

Thurs 5-6:30pm

Oct 29/15 -Mar 17/16

no classes: Dec 24, 31, Feb 18

Must be registered in TA, L2T or T2T to register in this program.  Must have club clothing (jacket & race suit)

These classes provide dryland training, a third ski day/week, race support, weekend race coaching, wax costs for race events, wax workshops, wax room rentals, outside coach contracting.

Dryland Training

(age 9-14)

$50

Thurs 5-6:30pm

Oct 29/15 - Nov 26/15

Must be registered in TA or L2T to register in this program.

Dryland training may turn into on-snow training if early snowfall.

Adult Ski Lessons

Adult Guided Ski

Fri 4-5:15pm

If you are not signed up in any program already but wish to ski with the XCBC club, you must purchase a club membership.  This covers the cost of liability insurance in case of accidents while skiing with XCBC.
