Overview: The fourth annual Opeongo Classic Loppet takes place on challenging, hilly terrain at Opeongo Nordic's ski trails, located in Brudenell, Ontario (south of Killaloe).

Distances are approximate and could be modified due to weather or trail conditions. There will be mass starts at set intervals. There are men’s, women’s and kids’ categories.

Registration on Zone4.ca closes Saturday February 4, 1 pm.

Register online only. There will be no on-site registration.

Sign-in and bib pick-up: February 5, 8:30 am to 10:00 am.

Mass start : 11:00 am. Schedule and routes will be posted on race day.

Course description: The 5 km distance is over rolling terrain. The 10 km course is over rolling and hilly intermediate terrain. The 20 km course is two loops of the 10 km course.

Refreshments: There will be one feed station on the 10 km loop. After the loppet, hot chili and buns will be served for racers (included in the fee) and volunteers.

Awards/Results: Awards will be given during post-event refreshments. Winners of any draws or gifts must be present to accept them. Results will be posted on the club website.

The organization has the right to cancel the event due to poor snow or trail conditions or cold weather. Refunds will be mailed out, less a $5 administration fee. Please check the website for information: www.opeongonordic.com
