School of Cross Cyclocross Clinics

School of Cross Cyclocross Clinics 2011

I will be running three separate cyclocross clinics this year growing the School of Cross Cyclocross clinic franchise.  The inaugural clinic was run in Vancouver last year with great success, so I wanted to run some clinics back home as well.  Below is the schedule for when I’ll be doing these clinics.  All the clinics are run just before the provincial races, so are a great way to hone your skills for a great season of cyclocross.

All clinics will include a day of lessons, hands on practise, and great advise from a seasoned cyclocross Semi-pro rider, Aaron Schooler of Team H&R BLOCK.  Yes I just wrote about myself in the third person…  But come on out, it’ll be a great time.  I have been racing for a while and even if you know how to mount and dismount, I’ll be able to help anyone become a faster cyclocrosser with tips and tricks from my years of experience.  We will run through the basics of mounting and dismounting, which is always a yearly practise must do.  We’ll practise how to bunny hop, ride the sand, off-cambre, run up stairs, shouldering, running with the bike, when to exert more effort, and when to rest, all the good things you do in a day’s cyclocross race.
