Event #2 Canmore Nordic Centre

Foothills Nordic Ski Club invites you to the second Bow Valley Race Series on Friday, January 19th, 2024!! This will be a fun event to kick off the AB Cup 3&4 Weekend. For skiers racing Saturday and Sunday this makes a great day before intensity session to fire up the engines and meet some of your fellow skiers. Social to follow races. All age groups are freestyle technique.

Race Categories (Freestyle Technique)

U10 Athletes born 2014-2016

U12 Athletes born 2011-2013

U14 Athletes born 2010-2012

U16 U18 Open and Masters 2009 and later.

Race fees are $2, to be collected (cash only) at bib pick up on the night of the event.

Bib Pickup

Skiers must check in, pay their toonie, and collect their bib at the start line at least 20 minutes before their category start.

Ski Passes

All participants are required to have a Canmore Nordic Centre ski pass. Day passes can be purchased at the Day Lodge until 5:00pm.

Day Lodge

The Canmore Nordic Centre Day Lodge is open until 5:30pm.

Rentals

Ski equipment can be rented at Trail Sports , across from the Day Lodge. Trail Sports is open until 8:00pm.
