NCCP COMMUNITY COACHING (CC) WORKSHOP

January 11 - 12, 2025

The CC Workshop is the part of the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). It provides essential training for coaches delivering an effective skill development program to children six to nine years of age, called the FUN damentals stage of athlete development.

The CC Workshop is designed to train coaches to teach children technical skills, select games that reinforce the technical skills being taught, design and lead on-snow sessions, select and prepare equipment for young children, and make learning FUN.

Successful completion of two online modules (see below), enthusiasm, and a minimum age of 14 years are the only prerequisites for the CC workshop.

Completion of the CC workshop is a prerequisite for the L2T (Learning to Train) Workshops.

Time Commitment

• 13 hrs total on Sat & Sun (Jan 11 & 12)

Cost

• Fee for CCBC members is $105. Fee for non-CCBC members is $500.

PREREQUISITE ONLINE MODULES

1) Coach Initiation in Sport

• 1-hr online module. Available online through the CAC Locker at a cost of $15.

2) Intro to Community Coaching (ICC)

• 5-hr online module. Fee for NC/CCBC members is $52.
