2025 Ontario Masters Championship and Bluesky Loppet / NOD5

Welcome to the registration page for the 2025 Ontario Masters Championship (Feb 7-9) and the Bluesky Loppet / NOD5 Races (Feb 9). If you have any questions or require assistance, please contact the North Bay Nordic Ski Club at races@northbaynordic.ca. Note: the use of fluorinated wax or tuning products containing fluorine including kick wax is not allowed for all events.

Registration for the Ontario Masters Championships closes at 11:59 pm EST, Wednesday February 5th, 2025. Payment must be made, and event waivers completed online at the time of registration. Confirmation lists will be posted on the Zone4 website, and any errors must be reported to the Competition Secretary (races@northbaynordic.ca) by Tuesday February 5th at 12:00 pm.

Late registrations for the Ontario Masters Championships are not accepted.

Registration for the Bluesky Loppet / NOD5 races on Sunday Feb 9 closes on Friday February 7 at 11:59 pm EST. Day of registrations may be possible for these events, however not guaranteed. Please register in advance.

Refunds:

We wish to encourage early registration. It helps us plan. We have a flexible cancellation policy.

If we receive a request to withdraw from the event in writing prior to the close of regular registration by midnight on Wednesday, February 5th, you will receive a refund of your registration fees and HST less a $10 administration fee. You will forfeit zone4 and credit card fees.

If required, due to inappropriate snow, poor trail conditions, insufficient registration, or force majeure, all or part of the event will be cancelled. In such a case, you will receive a refund of a portion of your registration, based on expenses already incurred less a $10 administration fee. You will forfeit zone4 and credit card fees.

Trail Fee Information:

Please note that access fees to the trails ARE INCLUDED in the registration fees for the OFFICIAL TRAINING DAY AND RACE DAYS ONLY, Thursday, February 6th to Sunday, February 9th. Athletes/Coaches/Parents must buy a trail pass if they wish to ski prior to or after these dates. Day passes are available in the club house of the North Bay Nordic Ski Club.

Safe Sport

Mandatory Fees for Athletes:

Please note that all racers are required to pay an additional Tier 3 event fee of $3.00 per race. This is a mandatory event fee for Tier 3 events sanctioned by XCSO (as a division of Nordiq Canada) where the cost is greater than $5.
