Welcome to the CBTL Club Registration
The Calgary Bicycle Track League (CBTL) is based at the Glenmore Velodrome , located in Glenmore Athletic Park, 5300, 19 Street SW, Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Construction of the Glenmore Velodrome started in 1974 and was completed in time to hold the National Track Championships in 1975. The velodrome is a 400 meter outdoor permanent concrete track with 29 degree banks, owned by the City of Calgary and used by the CBTL.
The facilities are located in the neighborhood of Altadore, close to Mount Royal University, Currie Barracks, Marda Loop, Garrison Woods and North Glenmore Park next to Stu Peppard arena.
Membership
The basic membership types are as follows; please proceed to fill in the individual member form for each member of your family.
- Adult Base CBTL Membership - $175 ($90 after July 31) plus ABA insurance if applicable
- Youth Base CBTL Membership - $100 ($50 after July 31) plus ABA insurance if applicable
- Women's Development Program (5 weeks, non-membership) - $75 plus ABA Insurance if applicable
Coached programs can be added on to your base membership for the following rates:
- Youth Program (2 sessions/week for 6 weeks) - $100
- Adult Program (1 session/week for 12 weeks) - $120
- Women's Development Program (5 weeks) - $25 (cost is supplemented by Watt Riot Cycling)
- Calgary Speed Skating Association (CSSA Members Only - Please only register if you've been instructed by your coach.) - $50
Please bring a copy (digital or printed) of your Zone4 registration to the track on your first visit so we can verify your registration.
Thursday Night Racing
Please note that there has been a change to the structure and requirements for Thursday Night Racing.
C category will now be treated as a fun learn to race experience. Points and podiums will not be awarded. General ABA memberships are able to participate.
Categories A and B will remain as a midweek race series, anyone wishing to participate in these categories will be required to hold an ABA Provincial Race License (or a UCI race license). You can get your license here: https://zone4.ca/register.asp?id=37150&lan=1&cartlevel=1
