4th Annual Early-Season Adult Ski Retreat Weekend

Friday, December 12 (evening) – Saturday December 13th

The 2025 Retreat will run Friday evening and Saturday (see schedule below). Come join us for classic and/or skate ski instruction and technique clinics, video analysis, and body work for recovery. The event includes delicious catered Friday appies, Saturday lunch, snacks, and a Saturday dinner and social.

Our instructors and coordinators offer a depth of talent and passion for Nordic skiing, including:

· Frank Ackermann , who is one of Canada's most accomplished Master's skiers and an NCCP T2C-certified coach. Frank's experience ranges from waxing skis for the Canadian National Team to winning medals at Masters World Cups.

· Heather Lamson , CANSI Level 4 instructor and medalist at Masters World Cups, has been instructing since 2006. She has a passion for improving technique and efficiency and building community.

· Yvonne Keyzer , a CANSI Level 3 instructor and a freshly retired sports medicine doctor, has a keen eye and depth of knowledge of technique and corrections.

· Katie Von Gaza , a CANSI Level 2 instructor, is a local adventurer, peaking mountains through bikepacking and backpacking in the summer. In the winter, her passion for Nordic skiing and organizing social and fun events brings the retreat to fruition.
