Race Notice

This is the first race of the Strathcona Nordic Cup . The Strathcona Nordic Cup consists of 8 races spread through the 2012/2013 season. Skiers will receive a point for each event they participate in. There will be awards for the skier or skiers with the most points in each of the usual race age categories. Awards will be given at the end of season banquet. Points will be given regardless of winning or losing, participating is the only requirement.

Teams of Four:
One team member must be 12 years old or younger
One team member must be 20 years old or younger
One team member must be 20 years or older
The last team member maybe any age

Free Technique. Racers 1 and 2 will ski 1 km, while racers 3 and 4 will ski 2 km. Team members may decide between themselves which team members race which distance.
