Lake Louise Camp: A great opportunity to hit the snow early and spend some time in the mountains!

CCA will not be arranging any transportation. All parents/athletes are responsible for coordinating their own transportation both to Lake Louise, and during the camp. We encourage you to arrange carpooling with fellow athletes, or within your club.

Hostel rooms are for registered camp athletes only*. If you are a parent looking for a place to stay during the camp, you can call the Lake Louise Hostel to book your own accommodation, or try other accommodations in the area.

*All members of Edmonton Nordic Ski Club: ENSC has booked off a block of rooms for their members (both parents and athletes). Please email madavy@gmail.com for more information.

This is an open provincial camp for Midget through Junior age categories. The camp starts at 1:30pm on Friday, November 11 and finishes at 1:00pm on Sunday, November 13.

Midget Ages: Born in 2004 or 2003

Juveniles: Born in 2002 or 2001

Juniors: Boys/Girls Born in 2000 or 1999

Juniors: Men/Women: Born in 1998 or 1997

Activities include on-snow technique, games and relays, video analysis, workshops and evening session.

Camp Cost: $200

included in the cost: cross country ski coaching, two nights accommodation at the Lake Louise Hostel (Friday and Saturday nights), meals (Friday dinner; Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner; Sunday breakfast, lunch), and special guest presentation

If you are interested in staying an extra night before or after the camp, you can make additional arrangements with the Lake Louise Hostel or another accommodation in the area.

1:30 - Video evaluations

2:30 - On snow technique/distance

5:30 - Supper at the Lake Louise Hostel

7:00 - Evening Presentation

Sunday, November 13

8:00 - Breakfast

8:45 - Clean and pack up

9:00 - Depart Lake Louise Hostel for skiing

9:30 - Distance skiing

1:00- Camp Ends
