2017 Fischer Loppet and Nordikids Races

Fischer Loppet and Nordikids Races March 4, 2017

On line Registration closes March 2 at Midnight.

Registration will be accepted in person at Hardwood after this deadline until 8am on March 4.  Late entries are very difficult for all organizers so there will be a $10 fee over the regular price so enter before the deadline to save. We cannot guarantee that entries received after March 2 will receive lunch.

Skiers of all levels can enjoy the rolling 15 km course that combines the best of the trails such as Sochi, Nagano and Torino without some of the bigger hills. It will be a test for advanced skiers and an accomplishment for others.

After the race skiers will enjoy a Lasagna and salad lunch and great awards and draw prizes courtesy of Fischer.

Classic and skate races will run at the same time with the skate skiers starting just ahead of the classic skiers. The course will have a classic track and a skating lane the full length of the trail. There will be a feed station every 7.5 km.

Please note that there will be a 3 hour cut off for both the 30 km skate and classic events. Skiers may complete the course but timing will stop at 12 noon for the skate race and 12:10 for the classic race to allow the timers to re-set and be ready to time the Nordikids races in the afternoon.
